About Ukulele Kids

How many people in a group?

This will vary from location to location, but usually Ukulele Kids lessons have around 4 – 6 children per group, and Ukulele Kids clubs have around 10+ children per group

Do I need to sign up for a half term at a time?

Yes, Ukulele Kids is a progressive programme and so regular attendance is required for continuity and progression.  Our courses are structured around the school terms and are bookable as half term blocks.

How much do you charge?

This will vary from group to group, but usually Ukulele Kids lessons cost around £8 per child per week, so you would pay approximately £48 for a 6 week half term block of instrumental lessons.

Lunchtime and after school clubs cost around £5 per child per week, so you would pay approximately £30 for a 6 week half term block.

Do I need my own ukulele?

Yes, we require that you have a ukulele so that you can practise between lessons.  You can buy an appropriate ukulele through our website for £22 + postage and packing.

Do I need a book?

We will provide you with a new book each level you work on, included in the price of your lessons.  You must remember to bring your book each week.  If you lose your book and require a replacement they are available at a cost of £5.

Where can I get your music?

Currently the music we use to teach the programmes is available on our website to listen to and practice with, but not for download.  Please visit the members page to find it.

How do I sign into the members area?

Once you have started lessons you will be able to sign into the members area with a password provided by your Ukulele Kids teacher.
